The ideal founder-led content tech stack

The only 7 tools you need to grow on LinkedIn in 2025

Hey!

Welcome to Social Files—your no-BS guide to generating demand for your B2B product using social & content.

Hope you had a great weekend. I know I’m late on this, but I spent my Saturday binge-watching Succession. Why did I wait so long??

Also, exciting news! Compound (my agency) is looking for our next Content Editor to join the team. $70-95K salary depending on experience. Here’s the JD.

Anyway. Today I want to share the list of the exact tools I’ve used with myself and with clients to facilitate founder-led content.

Shall we?

The ideal founder-led content tech stack

The only 7 tools you need to grow on LinkedIn in 2025

Okay. We’re gonna speed-run this one. Hyper-tactical. No fluff. These are the exact SaaS tools I’ve used to launch and scale 40+ founder-led content motions.

  • Fireflies AI: AI transcription tool for recording Content Interviews. You can use Otter, Fathom, or another one. I just picked Fireflies first.

  • Notion or ClickUp: I use Notion for my personal content calendar. I use ClickUp for our agency. Notion gets difficult to use once you build a team, but I still love it for my personal writing.

  • Bluecast: I use Bluecast to draft LinkedIn posts in minutes and repurpose content from my YouTube and newsletter in to social posts. I may be biased because I built it. But it’s cracked.

  • beehiiv: beehiiv is the ESP I use to send my newsletter. Highly recommend.

  • Riverside: I’m gonna be honest. I hate Riverside. But it’s the best option we have for recording Content Interviews with clients. If anyone has any recommendations for alts, please let me know. I beg you.

  • Apple Notes: I log all of my content ideas into a pinned Apple Note. Empires are built in Apple Notes, not fancy Notion dashboards.

  • Capcut: I edit most of my short-form videos in Capcut. Insanely easy to use. You can also record directly in-app. Considering how cracked LinkedIn video is now, learning Capcut is high-ROI.

  • Sales Navigator: Not a SaaS, but if you're doing outreach or outbound connection requests on LinkedIn, you can use Sales Nav to build a list of target accounts in your ICP.

That’s literally it. Don’t overcomplicate it.

A few other bonus tools I’m experimenting with right now:

  • Trigify: allows you to keep track of people engaging on your LinkedIn content so you can do targeted outreach.

  • Granola: an AI notetaker that takes your raw notes (aka incoherent bullet points) and expands on them using a meeting transcript. Super interesting.

Hope this helps. Forward this list to a founder who wants to enter their thought leader arc in 2025. I mean that in a non-derogatory way.
